The The New York bar exam results for February 2023 have been released.
Repeat takers accounted for 63% of all candidates who sat for the bar exam, an increase of 10% from last year. 50% of all candidates were foreign educated.
The overall pass rate was 40%, a decrease of 5% from last year. The first time taker pass rate was 56%. The repeat-takers pass rate was 28%. The foreign educated candidates had a passing rate of 34%, a decrease of 5% from last year.
