On Friday, California released the results from February’s 2022 bar exam.
A total of 3,113 applicants took the bar exam in February, and 1,056 of those applicants passed, for an overall pass rate of 33.9%.
The pass rate for first time applicants was 53%.
65% of the applicants sitting for the California bar exam were repeat takers. The repeat taker pass rate was 24%.
The California ABA Law Schools pass rate for first time takers was 54% and repeat takers pass rate was 33%.
The Out of State ABA Law Schools pass rate for first time takers was 48% and repeat takers pass rate was 29%.
California Accredited Law Schools who were not ABA accredited pass rate for first time takers were 33% and the repeat takers pass rate was 14%.
